Abstract/Citation: Repeals chapter 2 article 2 and 3, chapter 16 article 1 and 2 and the titles preceding chapter 16 article 1 and 2.

Amends chapter 2 article 1, chapter 6 article 9 and 15, and chapter 16 article 3, 4, 6a and 6e concerning the responsibility of municipalities, the responsibility of the National Board of Health and Welfare concerning notice of consent to accept a child for permanent care and upbringing or to receive a child habitually resident abroad in order to adopt it and give consent to the adoption process and appeal of decisions of the National Board of Health and Welfare.

Introduces to the act a new chapter 2a (about the division of responsibility between municipalities in terms of support and assistance under this Act) and a new article 6i to chapter 16 (duty of municipalities to report to the National Board of Health and Welfare).
