Abstract/Citation: Makes provision for the prohibition, prevention and prosecution of human trafficking. Establishes the Committee on Human Trafficking and provides for its powers and functions as well as establishing centres for the victims of trafficking. A Human Trafficking Fund is also to be created. Domesticates the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children, which supplements the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime.
