| Abstract/Citation: | The consolidation of the Act includes a total of 29 amending texts through Octotber 2018 (up to Act 2018:1088). The consolidated text includes various amendments. Contains 9 chapters concerning, inter alia: Chapter 1: Scope and definitions. Chapter 2: General rules on vessels and their manning. Chapter 3: Special rules for certain vessels (certificates, passenger vessels, etc.). Chapter 4: Working environment (reference to the Work Environment Act, accomodation, recreation accomodation, welfare facilities, safety delegates, etc.). Chapter 5: Supervisory authorities. Chapter 6: Restrictions in the right to use a vessel. Chapter 7: Authorization. Chapter 8: Responsibilities. Chapter 9: Additional rules (appeal, penalty, etc.). Repeals Act No. 49 of 1988. |
