| Abstract/Citation: | Provides for adequate manning of ships flying the Cypriot flag and ships sailing into Cypriot ports. Regulates the working and resting time of seafarers on board merchant and fishing vessels. Requires adequate medical attendance of seafarers and the implementation of health and safety precautions. Makes provision for the inspection of ships and introduces enforcement measures providing for penalties against ships violating the provisions of the Law. |
