| Abstract/Citation: | Provides a Model Form of Employment Contract for domestic workers. The contract is to include terms and conditions to be adhered to including the term of the contract, wages, medical examination and treatment, provision of food and housing, three month probationary period. The employer is to pay for the return of the worker to their home country. All disputes are to be referred to the Ministry of Labour. Provisions of the Civil Code are to apply to the contract, as are the provisions of the Labour Law for the Private Sector. Contracts are to be made in Arabic with a translation to be made in English. |
