Comprehensive legislation on health, safety and welfare of persons employed in factories. Divided into 14 parts. Part 1 (s. 1) contains intoductory provisions. Part 2 (s. 2-4) regulates interpretation and application to young persons employed in certain occupations. Part 3 (s. 5-12) contains general provisions regarding health; Part 4 (s. 13-30) general provisions regarding safety. Part 5 (s. 31-37) provides for health, safety and welfare. Part 6 (s. 38-42) regulates notification and investigation of accidents and industrial diseases. Part 7 (s. 43-44) provides for employment of women and young persons and prohibition of employment of children. Part 8 (s. 45-50) deals with special applications and extensions. Part 9 (s. 51-52) provides for home work. Part 10 (s. 53-61) contains miscellaneous provisions. Part 11 (s. 62-69) deals with administration. Part 12 (s. 70-86) contains supplementary provisions. Part 13 (s. 87-88) regulates application of act. Part 14 (s. 89) contains general provisions.
