|Abstract/Citation:||Provides that family aid for children shall be paid in case of pregnancy, birth of a child or child-care need. The calculation of the benefit is made for the last 6 months starting 45 days prior to the projected date of birth. Introduces a new chapter concerning a one-time benefit for pregnancy. The benefit for pregnancy is payable for 45 days before the projected date of birth upon submitting the required documents before the Minister of Labour and Social Policy.
Amendments also concern assistance to students. Students can obtain assistance until finishing secondary education but not later than 20 years of age (previously 18). Also introduces a one-time benefit for students beginning their primary education.
