Abstract/Citation: Comprehensive legislation on military service. Divided into eight parts. Part I contains general provisions and definitions. Part II regulates enrolment and attestation; Part III dismissal and discharge. Part IV provides for restrictions on fundamental rights. Establishes inter alia that no person subject to the Act shall be a member of, or be associated in any way with, any trade or labour union, or any class of trade or labour unions. Part V regulates investigation of charges and trial by Court-Martial; Part VI procedures of Court of Inquiry. Part VII provides for dealing with property of deceased officers and other persons. Part VIII contains miscellaneous provisions.
