Abstract/Citation: Amends provisions of the Antigua and Barbuda Merchant Shipping Act (Cap. 28) regarding requirements for certain classes of seafarers to be certified in fire fighting, radar operation, medical aid and rescue techniques, and general certification criteria for seafarers, including physical requirements. An amendment to s. 84 stipulates that no person under the age of 18 may work on a ship unless declared fit by a medical practitioner.
