Abstract/Citation: This Order confers a new Constitution on the Turks and Caicos Islands, setting forth its governmental structure. It contains provisions on the judiciary, the public service, a Public Service Commission and a Complaints Commissioner. Part VIII delineates fundamental rights and freedoms of the individual (including protection from slavery and forced labour, freedom of assembly and association and protection from discrimination on the basis of race, place of origin, political opinion, colour or creed).
