Abstract/Citation: Working time in health institutions shall not be more than an average of 48 hours a week over a period of 17 weeks, and not more than 60 hours in any given week. The period of time over which an average working time is calculated may be extended to 26 weeks through a collective agreement on the enterprise level. Also provides for rest time and overtime pay. The Act applies to doctors, medical technicians, and nurses.
