Abstract/Citation: Amends sections 3 (daily rest), 5 (annotations regarding daily rest) and 11 (competent authority for granting exceptions). It is provided, inter alia, that the minimum daily rest be 11 hours during the 24 hours continuously preceding the time the driver is at work. Daily rest may be split up into two periods of which one must be at least eight hours. Defines daily rest not to comprise, inter alia, the time during which a driver is accompanying a car in transit.
