Abstract/Citation: Amends provisions of the Social Security Act 1991 relating to, inter alia, career pension recipients, mobility allowance, partner allowance, sole parent pension, family payment, fringe benefits, sickness allowance, job search allowance, and newstart allowance. Section 4 defines persons qualified for career pension. Section 14 amends definition of couples living in a marriage-like relationships. Also makes minor amendments to the National Health Care Act 1953, the Data-Matching Program (Assistance and Tax) Act 1990, and the Social Security (Budget and other Measures) Legislation Amendment Act 1993.
