| Abstract/Citation: | Establishes a Seafarers' Authority, a Mercantile Marine Office and Seafarers' Advisory Board, as well as a Seafarers' Appeals Board. Provides for the registration of seafarers and the maintanence of employment registration books. Regulates the control of the supply, selection, employment and discharge of registered seafarers; the examination and certification of officers; and the health, safety and welfare of seafarers. |
