Abstract/Citation: |
Amends Sections 2 and 3 and adds Section 6b concerning responsibilities of employees and employers, respectively, in situations of transfers of ownership of employer companies and with regard to the requirement that exemptions from Sections 6a and 6b comply with Council Directives 77/187/EEG of 14 February 1977 and 91/533/EEG of 14 October 1991. Amends Section 5 to permit fixed term contracts of employment on certain conditions. Amends Section 6 to permit probationary employment for a maximum period of six months. Amends Section 22, paragraph 3 concerning the seniority rules used as a criteria for selecting employees to be dismissed in situations of redundancy. Amends Section 25, paragraph 2 concerning priority rights to reinstatement after dismissals due to redundancy. |
