| Abstract/Citation: | Amends the Occupational Therapists Act 1979, the Chiropractors and Osteopaths Act 1979, the Psychologists Act 1977, the Speech Pathologists Act 1979, the Podiatrists Act 1969, and the Physiotherapists Act 1964 in respect of membership of board and tenure of office; the Dental technicians and Dental Prosthetists Act 1991 concerning qualifications for registration; the Health Act 1937 in respect of conditions of licence and confidentiality; and the Medical Act 1939 regarding specialists and disqualification from membership of the Board. Amends the Health Rights Commission Act 1991 concerning disciplinary proceedings, council meetings, cooperation with interested organisations and related matters. |
