Abstract/Citation: An Act to make provision for the regulation of the conditions of employment; to prevent and remedy unfair dismissals and unfair disciplinary actions; to regulate the termination of employment contracts; to provide for the registration of unions and employers' organizations and to define the rights and obligations of each; to provide for the settlement of labour disputes; to provide for a Labour Commissioner and inspectors; to establish a Labour Advisory Council, a Labour Court, district labour courts and a Wages Commission; and to provide for the health, safety, and welfare of employees at work.
