Abstract/Citation: The main purpose of this Act is to establish the Queensland Rail Transit Authority and to facilitate the restructure of its rail business to deliver significant benefits to the community, including—
(a)improved operation and management of rail services; and
(b)more efficient delivery of rail services; and
(c)enhanced customer service for rail passengers; and
(d)a clearer accountability framework for rail services.
