  SYMPTOMS PREVENTION FIRST AID
Inhalation Sore throat. Cough. Burning sensation. Shortness of breath. Laboured breathing.  Use breathing protection.  Fresh air, rest. Half-upright position. Artificial respiration may be needed. Refer immediately for medical attention. See Notes. 
Skin Pain. Redness. Burning sensation. Blisters. Skin burns.  Protective gloves. Protective clothing.  Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse skin with plenty of water or shower. Refer immediately for medical attention. 
Eyes Pain. Redness. Severe deep burns. Loss of vision.  Wear safety goggles, face shield or eye protection in combination with breathing protection.  Rinse with plenty of water (remove contact lenses if easily possible). Refer immediately for medical attention. 
Ingestion Burning sensation. Abdominal pain. Nausea. Vomiting. Diarrhoea. Shock or collapse.  Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.  Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Refer immediately for medical attention. 

SPILLAGE DISPOSAL CLASSIFICATION & LABELLING
Personal protection: complete protective clothing including self-contained breathing apparatus. Collect leaking and spilled liquid in sealable containers as far as possible. Do NOT let this chemical enter the environment.

Effects of short-term exposure
The substance is corrosive to the eyes, skin and respiratory tract. Corrosive on ingestion. Inhalation of high concentrations may cause lung oedema, but only after initial corrosive effects on the eyes and the upper respiratory tract have become manifest. Medical observation is indicated. 

Inhalation risk
No indication can be given about the rate at which a harmful concentration of this substance in the air is reached on evaporation at 20°C. 

Effects of long-term or repeated exposure
Repeated or prolonged contact may cause skin sensitization. Repeated or prolonged inhalation may cause asthma.
