Gender Roadmap for the Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments (2020–2030)
Gender Roadmap for the Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments (DIFE) in Bangladesh has been developed to support DIFE's progress towards greater gender-responsiveness.
The Roadmap identifies key issues and proposes strategic directions for DIFE's gender mainstreaming work in the short-, medium- and long-term (2020–2030). By becoming more gender-responsive, DIFE will be better placed to support the Bangladesh government's goals on gender equality and decent work.
The Gender Roadmap for DIFE was developed with the support of International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Improving Working Conditions in the Ready-Made Garment Sector Programme (Phase II) with funding from the Governments of Canada, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
