The importance of effective OSH in TVET sector to improve quality of Skills training
ILO SKILLED Project jointly with National Institute of Occupational safety and Health (NIOSH) is planning to have a 01-day workshop on the theme “The importance of effective OSH in TVET sector to improve quality of Skills training “
ILO supports this workshop under the funding assistance of EU SDDP and its objective is to raise the concerns of head of agencies of VT institutes on the importance of making the training environments are safe and healthy and introduce good practices which could be learned by the trainees before entering the world of work.
The inaugural Session of the event will take place from the participation of EUD representation, Secretary, ML&TUR and Secretary, MSD&VT, Heads of TVEC, VTASL, DTET, NAITA and NYSC.
A certificate awarding ceremony will be held for the successful trainers who attended the 10-day ToTs conducted by NIOSH in Vavuniya and Batticaloa
