Book Launch - 'Talking through the crisis: Social dialogue and industrial relations trends in selected EU countries'

The ILO, in cooperation with the European Commission, will present a new book on the evolution of social dialogue in various EU Member States in the post-crisis period.

The International Labour Organization (ILO), in cooperation with the European Commission, warmly invites you to the launch of a book entitled ‘Talking through the crisis: Social dialogue and industrial relations: Trends in selected EU countries’. The event will be hosted by MEP Claude Rolin.

The book studies how social dialogue has evolved over the post-crisis period and how it can be strengthened in the future. It provides valuable insights into the many factors that have influenced social dialogue in various EU Member States, including the evolving economic and political context, the effectiveness of national institutions for tripartite and bipartite social dialogue, as well as the processes of the European Semester.

The event will be held on Thursday 30 March, from 10:00 - 12:40 at the European Parliament in Brussels, and will be followed by a lunch. Interpretation to French and English will be provided.

Registration is mandatory. Please register online before Thursday 23 March.
