If certain conditions are in place, the school where she works must establish a nursery for the children of its employees, and she is entitled to one hour of breastfeeding daily.

  2. Giving child labourers a voice through music

    Thousands of children in Lebanon are engaged in child labour – many in some of its worst forms. The ILO and Lebanon’s Ministry of Labour teamed up with renowned conductor and choirmaster Selim Sahab, together setting up a special choir to empower these children, and give them a voice through music. This ILO-led initiative is part of efforts to implement Lebanon’s National Action Plan to Eliminate the Worst Forms of Child Labour.
