On Thursday, 16 December 2021, the ILO will host an online panel discussion of the global rise of workers centres as support structure to reach to workers who are difficult to reach including migrant workers, women workers, informal workers, and others. The panel will comprise the authors of the recent ILO background paper “Reclaiming Space for Workers in the 21st Century: A Literature Review on Workers’ Centres,” as well as guest speakers.

The ILO Work in Freedom programme has organised this webinar as part of a dedicated paper and event series on workers’ centres. The webinar aims to engage stakeholders worldwide with interests in labour conditions, international labour standards, and workplace equality and discrimination.
