The ILO’s International Training Centre in Turin has conducted value chain development (VCD) training sessions in Jordan to promote the agricultural sector in areas that have been affected by increased labour supply as a result of the Syrian refugee crisis. VCD activities have also taken place in the occupied Palestinian territory as part of post-conflict Local Economic Recovery training to revive key sectors of the Palestinian economy.
