Training of trainers (ToT) on actuarial work in social security pensions
In the context of the EU-China project - Improving China’s institutional capacity towards universal social protection (Phase 2), the ILO and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (MOHRSS) are jointly organizing a training of trainers (ToT) on actuarial work in social security pensions for about 30 actuarial staff of MOHRSS at national and provincial levels. The ToT will take place in Yixing, the county-level city under Jiangsu Province, from 23 to 25 May 2023.
The training aims to improve participants’ understanding of international principles of actuarial work in social security pension schemes and international practices of application of those principles. Those participants trained will become key personnel to support MOHRSS’ actuarial work and internal training activities. The training will also serve the purpose of validating the training material developed under the EU-China Project Phase 1.
