Report on the Cambodia Labour Force Survey 2019

The report presents the key findings of the Cambodia Labour Force Survey (CLFS) 2019. This household survey was conducted by the National Institute of Statistics, Ministry of Planning, Royal Government of Cambodia, with support from the International Labour Organization (ILO) and Asian Development Bank (ADB).

The Cambodia Labour Force Survey (CLFS) 2019 report summarizes the employment and unemplyment status of the working age population. It provides decent work indicators, related to employment and unemployment, working conditions, social protection and recruitment cost of migration. It also contributes decent work indicators for monitoring the relevant Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In particular, it finds an informal employment rate of 88 per cent and 13 per cent of youth were not in education, training or employment.
