Project Advisory Committee (PAC) Meeting 2022, Cambodia

Following the nomination of the ILO/China Partnership Programme Advisory Committee (PAC) members by H.E Ith Samheng, Minister of the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training of Cambodia, the Project Advisory Committee meeting was successfully organized on 25 March 2022 by tripartite constituents to review the project progress in 2021 and deliberate on the annual workplan 2022.

A total of 25 delegated participated in the meeting, representing Ministry Labour and Vocational Training, Ministry of Tourism, National Employment Agency, CAMFEBA, National Trade Union Council, and TVET Institutions.
The meeting which was chaired by H.E Thorng Samon, Advisor to the Ministry and Deputy Director General of Directorate General of Technical and Vocational Education Training. Mr Graeme Buckley, Director of ILO Country Office for Thailand, Cambodia and Lao PDR and ILO Decent Work Team for East and South-East Asia and the Pacific addressed in the opening session of the meeting.
The project implementation in 2021 and the draft 2022 workplan were presented by the secretariat to the PAC.
The project progress report in 2021 and the 2022 workplan were endorsed by all the Project Advisory Committee members.
