  1. Indonesia Business and Disability Network (IBDN) encourages corporations to promote diversity and inclusivity in the workplace

    Coinciding with the month of Disability Awareness this December, five companies have agreed to sign a commitment and establish the Indonesia Business & Disability Network (IBDN) that aims at promoting diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.

  2. 16 days of activism against gender based violence

    The 16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence is an international campaign originating from the first Women's Global Leadership Institute sponsored by the Center for Women's Global Leadership in 1991. On December 1, 2016, ILO celebrated the ORANGE DAY at provincial office, Lahore to raise awareness to END Violence against Women. Provincial staff of ILO , WFP, and UN Women were present during Cake-cutting ceremony. The day ended with the pledge, "Unite to end violence against women”.

    In pursuit of an effective DWCP Analysis for Cambodia for the next biennium (2016-18) the ILO, inspired by the ‘My world’ survey which was a landmark innovation in setting the new development agenda, conducted a My World of Work survey to better reflect the citizen’s aspirations and perceptions about work and employment. This survey aimed to gather and analyze information using online and offline forms of social media in the country so as to be able to incorporate citizens’ voices into the country programme of the ILO.
