ACT/EMP is the internal resource within the ILO on the evolving nature of "the business of representing business".  One of the key roles of the ACT/EMP is to advance research on Employer and Business Membership Organizations, as well as priority issues for those organizations, and to transmit the knowledge, policy priorities and approaches of business across the ILO in order to strengthen ILO policy analysis and technical programmes.
